The funny thing is that in afghanistan they dont speak arabic. That is the funny part. The dishonest part is that he states that we are using up our translators in Iraq when they would be better served in afghanistan. When in truth we use locals to translate. IN case you were interested, which i doubt.

I do know we have translators in our armed forces. Its the claim that somehow afghanistan is somehow worse off bc we have translators in iraq that I find dishonest.

Arabic translators would be needed in Afghanistan since al Qaeda is an Arab organization. Not only are we fighting the Taliban in Aghanistan, we are also fighting al Qaeda. So no, it isn't an error.

I have no idea what the hell this is even about. But we do need Arab translators in Afghanistan to fight al Qaeda.

Plus, Arabic is practically an international language for the various ethnic groups who have their own linguisitic histories and dialects.
