Only thing in the trunk other than the carpet and the jack are is the original spacesaver spare (not common in big cars back then) and the never used GM tire inflator system (CO2 tank).

The kilos were in a Town Car stretch IIRC.

Original Cadillac 40 channel CB radio with digital display. Fully functional, but as you might imagine very limited range. The 8 track player and AM/FM Stereo radio still works of course.

nah, they're mounted in the spare tire of the newport now. got a little messy when i seated the bead, lol.

the more i look at this thing, the more i want it. something would have to go first though, newport or the jeep.

yep. only use the vin would be useful for is decoding for the basic configuration. verifies body type, engine, color, things like that. checking if it's matching numbers would be another thing, but you've got to see it in person for that anyway.

Its all numbers matching, all original except for the new tires, wipers, and filler panels on the body. I have paint to match the filler panels to the rest of the car but havent got around to it yet.
