These are horrible shots as they are heavily cropped (100%)...

Body of a red-winged blackbird, head of...well...something else. Reminiscent of a yellow-headed blackbird, however the black cap/mask is different. No under wing markings that I could see.

Found in the marshy sound area in the NE part of the state (Outer Banks).

I've been looking online for quite a while now and haven't been able to ID it.

Any ideas?

maybe its some subspecies of Redwing blackbird


honestly, being that its in a marsh and looks like a RWB thats what id call it, but im no bird expert holla at receivedeath hed know

ever seen an albino python?

^yea im from jacksonville we saw em all the time in the sounds and marshes
