^^^^what does mercedes have to do with it? any affiliation with them was removed when daimler sold chrysler. mercedes is just a brand of daimler, and never had any control over chrysler. they contributed some engineering to the lx (charger/challenger/magnum/300) platform from the s-class and e-class, but that's about it. mercedes hasn't had any sort of direct control over a u.s. automaker since studebaker-packard in the 50's.
i don't know why people can't understand that. it's like saying chevrolet influences pontiac or something. i guess it does get confusing with all the double names, etc. though. 6/6/2008 8:00:54 PM |
