Any ideas on how to insert a picture into a craigslist job postings ad? I've tried the simple <img src="picture"> tag to try to link image into the ad. I was trying to make an ad for our organization stand out by by inserting an image but it didn't work. It came up fine in Firefox when saved as an HTML file but wouldn't work on craigslist. In fact, it said it posted but just didn't show up in the posted jobs. Multiple refreshes, clearing of cookies and hours later, still nothing. I don't know if HTML (or certain code) is prohibited in craigslist, but maybe one of you could give me an idea of how to make it work if possible.

By the way, this is for a nonprofit mental health organization that is trying to recruit new therapists. The idea is to have a slightly more appealing ad to help make our position a little more noticeable than all the simple black & white ads.

El Nacho: Thanks for the critical analysis, but I did ad it to my old thread but the change in topic was ignored. Some guys just love talking about their signatures.
Ernie: Tried hosting it in Flickr, Webshots and Photobucket. After doing some reading, it looks like Image Shack might be a better option. 6/8/2008 11:25:02 AM |

Additionally, you can do that using the HTML <img> tag, but the picture must already be on a site someplace. There are many free web hosting sites on the internet where you can upload your picture, just type in "free web hosting" into your search engine.
