i dont like when the end of a movie (typically comedies) shows the main guy and the girl married and they have a kid

and the kid does something that the main guy is known for

example: Zoolander

In war movies, when they run holding a rifle, it goes clink clink clink... THEY DON'T DO THAT.

When two people are fighting and they both start doing roundhouse kicks and then spin like two gears in mesh for about 3 rotations before someone gets hit. The camera will always be directly above their heads when this happens.
Another variation involves one person doing the roundhouse kick while another person is doing a circular sweep, same camera angle.

It bothers me when investigators in movies & TV shows magically bring grainy low-res images to crystal clarity with a single mouse click. It's a lot more involved than that and sometimes what they do simply can't be done in real life.

The criminal information databases on the CSI shows always use fonts and slick layouts that you'd never find in a real-life government database.

I hate it when everyone is in a bar, and one person trips or drops a cup on someone and that person punches someone else and all of a sudden everyone in the entire bar is fighting each other for no reason.

this may already be in here, but i hate it when anybody using a computer on any movie, tv show, etc is typing when they really should just be using the mouse (like when opening a program or something).

I don't think i've ever seen a computer go unhacked, no matter who's doing the hacking

Show-downs that "give a nod" to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

It is a timeless epic and will never be topped, folks. Give it up and try your own last-minute tense-building for a change!

"happily ever after" endings annoy the fuck out of me

i know movies are "escapes from reality," but it wouldn't hurt for there to be some realism every now & then would it?

"at least better than Everybody Loves Raymond"

Both bad shows, but the thing that always stood out about Everyone Loves Raymond...

They supposedly had kids but they're absent for nearly 98% of the series. Sorry, but when you have kids there is no escaping them

The could have easily brought a new kid out each time they needed to make a brief cameo and no one would have noticed. They probably could have brought out a different kid for each appearance in the same episode for that matter.

Beautiful court rooms with 25 foot ceilings and wood paneling everywhere.

I have never seen a court room that looks like that.

Does black comedians on stage or in movies impersonating a white guys voice count? They all do the same tired impression.

People do this IRL to get an easier trigger pull on the first shot.

True. In movies it's always done in standoffs when the other guy is 6 feet away. If heavy trigger pull is going to make you miss at that range then you shouldn't be in shoot outs to begin with.

I can understand someone pulling the hammer back with their thumb, it's dramatic and all, but what really gets me is when they're pointing a gun at someone and then they pull the whole slide back.

Also I can't stand when someone gets chopped in half and they stay still for 5 seconds, and then slowly slide apart. Culprits I can remember off the top of my head: Resident Evil, Equilibrium, Ghost Ship, Thirteen Ghosts, etc.

I detest any time in a movie when killer robots are used... and they don't seem to be very effective killers. Surely these robots would have been programmed to calculate the speed of a moving target and then lead that target with fire.

I think conspiracies of any kind (government, Illuminati, Templars, etc) are really cliche and played out. I know that people like to believe that there's some secret society that covers their tracks near perfectly but they're the only ones who can see through the deception, but is it too much to ask that sometimes shit happens for no reason at all?

When the attractive teenage girl is introduced, and she's usually the new girl in town with a chip on her shoulder (i.e. Disturbia), and it's usually because her parents just don't understand her or why she's pissed that they had to move.

Right before the hero kills the enemy, monster, or whatever, they utter some cheesy line right before they off them.

Backstories that have nothing to do with the plot.

^^ maybe it has to do with all the wind caused by the rotors. perhaps ducking lowers one's center of gravity enough so that it's easier to move around without getting buffeted around or something.

^^When I was in high school I went on a field trip to some Army recruiting thing or whatever and they were giving Black Hawk rides. They said that although highly unlikely, under certain wind conditions the rotors have been known to deform enough where it could hit a tall person or something and they said that everyone needed to duck when going up to the door.

when a group of people hear a name and a few of them talk about rumors theyve heard about the name

examples (forgive me for including Usual Suspects, best movie in the world):
they hear keyser soze and fenster starts saying what he's heard about him

batman begins
when crane and the gang hear something and someone says batman, they start askin shit like
IS IT TRUE HE CAN FLY? I HEAR BLAH BLAH

yeah, i would think that there should be a bank of real phone numbers that all the studios have bought that they can use in movies or TV shows. It always really breaks the illusion when they show (or worse, say) 555

The smart studios, I think 24 did this, use a real phone number, and you can can call it and its like the number to a fan club for that movie or show
