Wal-Mart had nothin.
I want one that bolt-cutters don't stand a chance against, with plenty of length to go through my motorcycle wheels, frame, and connect the whole thing around a tree.
Yes, I do live around much shadiness. 6/10/2008 1:24:22 PM

first of all, i don't think you're going to find an 8-foot long cable lock, let alone anything bigger
second, bolt cutters WILL go through the cable lock...go with a u-bolt 6/10/2008 1:25:56 PM

I'm with you on the u-bolt, and I've got one.
But I would like an 8+ foot cord that also can't just be ripped through. I used to have one for a bicycle that long, but it was too flimsy. I'm assuming something similar exists with a thicker cord. 6/10/2008 1:35:31 PM

Bolt cutters don't cut through these, since they are coiled, they typically squish. It takes a dremel to take them off.
