So my fiance's 2004 Saturn VUE clicks when she trys to start it. I'm thinking its the starter but I was gonna pull the battery and run it up the street to autozone to make sure the battery is good. Is it worth checking the battery? 6/11/2008 9:14:12 PM |

Yeah, a fairly dead battery could result in the car making a click noise when starting. It at least rules it out as something that's dying. 6/11/2008 9:20:14 PM |

yes check the battery. If it were the starter then you wouldn't even get the clicking sound. 6/12/2008 12:08:10 AM |

new battery, get a jumpoff and run it up there. Hopefully they've got enough sense to properly install the battery for you 6/12/2008 12:19:06 AM |

if its still the original battery, i can asuure you its done, gm uses the best batteries of any us manufacturer, but 4-6 years is about it, the ac delcos are tough, the damn motorcraft batteries struggles to make it 2-3 years, cheap ass bastards 6/12/2008 10:55:12 AM |
