So my fiance's 2004 Saturn VUE clicks when she trys to start it. I'm thinking its the starter but I was gonna pull the battery and run it up the street to autozone to make sure the battery is good. Is it worth checking the battery?

Yeah, a fairly dead battery could result in the car making a click noise when starting. It at least rules it out as something that's dying.

yes check the battery. If it were the starter then you wouldn't even get the clicking sound.

new battery, get a jumpoff and run it up there. Hopefully they've got enough sense to properly install the battery for you

if its still the original battery, i can asuure you its done, gm uses the best batteries of any us manufacturer, but 4-6 years is about it, the ac delcos are tough, the damn motorcraft batteries struggles to make it 2-3 years, cheap ass bastards
