Is there anyway to set my home printer (HP C4820 All-in-one) to accept printer jobs from my wife's computer which connects to our home network wirelessly? I've never messed with it, so I have no clue where to start.

Yes. Be aware anyone with access to your network will be able to print, so be sure your network is secure.

go to your computer. right click on the printer and hit "sharing..."
click the "share this printer" radio button
add a name for the printer
press "OK"
right click "My Computer", press properties
go to the "Computer Name" tab
write down the "Full Computer Name"

go to wife's computer
go to start menu
press run, enter the following into the box:
\\<Full Computer Name>\printer name

your printer should now be mapped, and should be able to be selected to print from

I came on here to ask a similar question............

I have an all in one printer with a jack for ethernet. I want to spend as little cash as possible to connect it to my network. Google has helped me come up with two solutions (I think):

1. Use a wireless bridge (but it needs to be able to handle network encryption)
2. Use a powerline adapter to connect directly to my wireless router

What should I do?

^ComputerGuy's response was to zapped102's question how to connect the printer to the network, not the OP.

^^^plug it into the router, if you want it remotely, buy another cheap linksys router that's DD-WRT compatible on eBay, put DD-WRT on it, turn it into a repeater, profit.
