I don't know. I guess I thought that you and I could put our differences behind us.....
I thought that picture would bring us closer together....so we could bond

there used to be a small computer shop in Cary. Down maynard rd. I think?

intrex maybe?

I can't remember.....it's been so long since I've been to the RDU area

other than that, all I know is radioshack....unless you feel like driving up here to NY for it. I have some

only 6 inches?

p.s.:

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103715
something like that would be ideal
but $10.99 is ridiculous
and i don't need six feet

might just have to buy that, chop it up, and solder on new pl259s....

the two are completely unrelated, i just figured i'd kill two birds with one stone if i was going out to buy this coax anyway since there's an ace hardware next to radioshack

i need a set of wrenches as well

mission: success

except the dude had no clue what i was talking about

"i need a 3 to 6 foot piece of coax with pl-259's on either end"

*takes me over to the rg59 with F connectors on either end*

"no, i'm pretty sure it's not here..."

him: "this is where we keep all our coax, i know it's here"

*i walk over to where the radio stuff is, it's right there*

him: "oh..."

Damn...I need to start coming back to tdubb more often....Radio Shack is epic fail these days when anything radio related is concerned...I remember back in the old days when ham radios & scanners were merchandised front and center and cellphones were relegated to a small display case out of the way...and you could actually buy capacitors, resistors and other components *sigh*

the pl-259s are the real problem

coax @ home depot, lowes

connectors @ radioshack

don't ask for help at either store, because you'll just get frustrated.
