Heard that the whole incident was over a recent drug deal/ drug related and prosecutors didn't not want to release the autopsy report in the case. Apparently Eve and some of her rich friends were/ had been purchasing cocaine from the two guys for quite some time. Eve then recieved some on 'credit' and then failed to pay resulting in her death. This could be a possibility and is not to be ruled out. Autopsy is to be released today!!

I heard that she was kidnapped from her house and taken to the ATM (new to me, I thought she was carjacked and it was a robbery gone wrong). The drug thing could easily explain why they went through all the trouble of taking her to an ATM for it (that's a ton of trouble just for some paper), but I really really don't want to speculate on her having been involved with drugs. The circumstances of her murder are so fucked up that I don't want there to be any mitigating conditions that give the lawyer defending her killers (and the killer of that Duke grad student, too) any sort of legal fodder that could get them a reduced sentence. That's not really nice or fair, but we don't need people involved in shit like that with such a lack of respect for human life to be let back on the streets, even if drugs were involved.

Do you have a link that has any info on this speculation, or is it just hearsay?

One of the most terrible things I've ever heard. Sure those guys had NO reason to kill the girl, but making her appear to be 'innocent sunshine' isn't the correct way to go about things either. This is something the public needs to know as well as the family of the victim. There are certain question that need to be answered;

1) the relation of the individuals - did she know them? How? This will explain if it was a random acto of violence.

2) Why are they Just now releasing the autopsy? Why did they have it sealed up? Just doesn't make sense. We'll know something later on today tho.

Wow, I've never said anything such thing. Noone deserves to die AT ALL, my only attempt is to change the way this whole thing is viewed. The possibility of it being a DRUG DEAL gone bad instead of "worthless thugs kill innocent white girl" which everyone jumped on from day one. Justice needs to be served, and it will. But if this is indeed true, it will awaken another side of reality--one that defies stereotypes and actually applies to everyone.


well,her autopsy will be released today. If this isn't true, then kill the thread. But if its indeed true, this is a very rellevant thread.
