Does the bathroom have those motion-sensing lights? I've had it happen a couple of times where I've been conducting some business in a stall and the lights went out because the motion sensor didn't see anything for ~5 minutes. Sometimes the sensor will turn the lights back on if you stand up and wave your arms...sometimes it won't.
