This may sound crazy, but I took the spanish placement test and am supposed to be in FLS 110. I really want to get this class out of the way. Is a there a consequence for skipping the 100 level spanish classes and taking 201?

justt register for 201
usually you have to sign this form saying that you took 101 and 102


i took portuguese 101 adn portuguese 102,
as long as you tell the teacher you are comfortable with the material you should be ok

for a second I thought the class was FLoorScrubbin 201.

you can't just talk to the teacher...my professor was pretty strict about making sure that we all had either AP tested into 202 or taken the university test. she didn't ask for proof for it, it was kinda on the honor system, but she said when grades were put in if you didn't meet either of those pre-reqs, you wouldn't get credit for the class.

email the head of the foreign language department, i don't remember his name off the top of my head

but i emailed him, explained my situation, and he agreed that i should be in a more advanced class than where i was placed. he told me to print out that email and give it to my professor as verification and everything was fine.
