Fort Bragg 4th celebration. Get out there with the people keeping us free and also enjoy some loud guns and great fireworks.

If you go to Booth Amphitheatre tonight, try to get there early. I was out there last night for their Movie by Moonlight series and people were already laying out their tarps and sheets to have a spot for tonight. They will have stuff going on starting at 3pm.

The N&O has a list of all the fireworks displays: http://www.newsobserver.com/2783/story/1122852.html

went to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore

Nice show, plus Ft. McHenry's right on the opposite side. Gives it a unique touch.

haha, we threw/shot fireworks at our neighbors who live down the hill from us

they returned fire with larger fireworks, but we had more, and we held the high ground.

Boston's fireworks display was by far the best I've ever seen... it was absolutely amazing...

I haven't seen all that many though so I'm not sure how it ranks nationally... but it was 30minutes of fireworks synchronized with the Boston Pops playing live... and there were several fireworks I had never seen before.

Blew the hell out of Wilmington, NC, Annapolis MD, Charlotte Area (Knights stadium, Carowinds, Tega Cay can all be seen from our lake house)...

Not to mention the all day rooftop party that was associated with it... A+ would do again, highly recommend...

^I've always wanted to go to Boston for the 4th, rent a canoe, and watch the fireworks from the Charles. I'm doing it next year if all works out!

I enjoyed the fireworks in Philadelphia for the 4th and in Boston. I'm not sure if I could get a hold of keys to the Library from work but that would be pretty badass to get to the top of DH Hill.

^yeah, I was thinking about going down to DC, but considering the rain up here and the crowds, I decided to just stick with the harbor.

The crowd on the light rail was insane, though...it was completely packed on the trip back uptown

^Got around 8:30, perfect timing. The show was ok, fairgrounds show isn't anything that spectacular. Did get to watch some rednecks launch bottle rockets and ended up shooting one sideways and hit within 5 feet of a family with 2 kids. They loved it
