see what I did there?

I have no idea how the winner isn't Boston by a landslide, with the absence of maybe some college championships in the recent past.

how many other towns have that many titles in the last 40 years.

actually, I hadnt tought of that... if you take the average yearly attendance for football, bball, and women's bball would anyone else be close?

does Ohio State women's bball draw a lot of people?

that's not the premise I don't think when I hear titletown but I mean that's me, it's ESPN, they're featuring Chapel Hill for god's sake. Not that Chapel Hill doesn't have a great basketball tradition and Tennessee has some of the best fans, but when I hear titletown, I think what town covers all areas with titles or just shear number.

I think Boston, LA, Chicago, granted my definition would limit the choices to cities that could support that many teams, but so be it, name the competition something else ESPN.

I get this weird feeling that Chapel Hill will come in second because of the support of ESPN but lose to some larger city to save their ratings.

I mean, if you don't count non revenue sports, Raleigh has just as many national championships in the last 50 years as Chapel Hill.

1974 NC State
1983 NC State
2006 Carolina Hurricanes.

Extremely subjective, just saying...
