For our wedding present, my uncle gave us a MiniDV of the wedding. How can we play this? We don't have a camcorder and don't plan on buying one any time soon. Isn't there some type of VHS tape that you can stick the MiniDV inside and play it? Some type of contraption?
It is not possible for me to borrow his camera b/c of distance. 7/8/2008 7:26:44 PM |

since you dont want to buy equipment and dont have a camcorder already id take it to someone that did or a company that does archival media services, the price would be the same then if you bought equipment youd probably never use again 7/8/2008 7:34:51 PM |

someone told me that i could borrow a camcorder from someone and hook it to the VCR and record it onto a VHS cassette?
Is that easy to do? How do I do it? 7/8/2008 7:37:03 PM |

id put it in a camcorder, use a firewire cable to connect it to your pc, and just make it a file on your computer that you can put on a dvd
thats the easiest way 7/8/2008 7:40:23 PM |

you could also send it off to http://www.nettapes.com for 8.95 they'll put it on a dvd for you.
**note: I have no experience with this company, they were just one of google's links. 7/8/2008 9:18:22 PM |
