ok my nigs. I know this thread has been made before. but im making the deal tomorrow and wanted to know what the best thing I can do in terms of a bill of sale since neither have titles
im picking up a jet ski with trailer and a jon boat with trailer. both were repo'd and left on this guys land. I've read through some threads about the waiting game...
I've also told the seller that I may need to contact him later if there are probs...
the property use to be a tow yard...and they moved and left the ski and boat there and the owner is selling the land so I snatched them up.
how can I convince wildlife that the boat is homemade?
excuse the spelling and stuff, im typing this from my mogul, laying in bed. kisses to all 7/11/2008 12:04:34 AM |

I wouldn't try the homemade bit. Just baonest with them and don't lie. This thread seemed to have some good info: message_topic.aspx?topic=519772 7/11/2008 12:07:03 AM |

just go talk to the wildlife people at the centennial office, they will help you out unlike the dmv, you can even just call them with the registration or hull numbers and they will tell you all the info they have on it 7/11/2008 7:21:01 AM |

Last I checked the land owner can claim that they were abandoned on his land (which appears to be the case), and they can create a title for for it under his name. 7/11/2008 9:51:28 AM |

^ Something like that. I think the landowner would actually put a lien on it for storage. The wildlife office would send a certified letter to the owner's last known address giving them the chance to refute it or pay the lien. If they don't respond then the landowner would own the boats. More than likely the guy who is selling the land just wants them gone immediately though. He's not going to waste his time doing all the paperwork and waiting just to make a few hundred dollar bucks. 7/11/2008 10:04:05 AM |

ehh, well the land owner didnt do any sort of lean or anything.
so the wildlife lady said the easiest would be to just send a certified letter to the last owner. 7/11/2008 12:07:50 PM |
