We had one of those and I think the recommended interval was 105,000 miles iirc.

Timing Belt has not been replaced... I have full carfax report and can fax if needed. Car qualifies for Carfax buyback Guarantee. I'm not original owner, purchased 3 1/2 years ago... I've done all regular oil changes, etc. No major repairs have ever been needed. Only a knock sensor (common issue on Subarus) and recently the drive belt and cv axle & boot last week when I took to mechanic to have car looked over and checked out to prepare for sale...

sd2nc- you are right on the money... Southern States said that they definitely could and would be happy to replace it, but the tech said Ive got 16K before it becomes needed- At my rate of driving, thats over a year away... I did just have the drive belt replaced, as well as the right front cv axle and boot. Everything else checked out fine...

Standard Impreza Features: Dual air bags, 5 mph impact bumpers, child safety door locks, built in child safety seat tether hooks, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, A/C, tilt wheel, rear window wiper, rear defrost, auto-off headlights (great feature!).

Additional Outback Sport Model features: Anti-Lock Brakes, raised ground clearance (over regular Subaru models), cruise control, cargo tray liner, cargo area accessory outlet, hood scoop, rear spoiler and fin, roof rack, bug shield, 15.9 gal gas tank and 60/40 split rear seats which fold flat to allow for transporting of larger/longer cargo.

All wheel drive is good for the summer as you can drive on the beach, and great for the winter, as it handles any snow or ice with no problem. Plus, with rear seats that fold down flat, and a protective tray in the cargo area, this car thinks its a small truck!
