ok so I have some property that was supposed to be paid back for, never was fully...now the business that has this property is going under eviction(we were told from the company) and the owners are trying to either sell the business to someone else or let the lease run out totally.

how do i go about taking a lien on that property? my attorney wasnt in all day, and I tried calling others but they want to schedule appointments and this is happening Friday...need it done before then.

also dont want to pay the lawyer 200 bucks for something I can do myself, IF i can...

Is the property titled in your name? I had a similar situation but it was titled in my name and I had a full contract written up. It was a skidsteer and we had a documented payment arrangement. I just called the Sheriff when I got sick of his shit, drove up with a trailer and drove away.

However, if you sold someone your old weedwhacker on a 6 month payment plan, you may have some trouble. What property are you trying to put a lien on anyways?
