Need a good part or full time job until school starts, and one that I can also maintain during school. Does anybody know anybody thats hiring? I have technical computer skills, I was trying to get a job as an IT somewhere, but I'm not picky. Just as long as it pays well.

Thanks guys.

i was told the other day by this one guy that hes been looking for 3 months and hasnt found a part time job(dont know how picky he is but he made it sound like he'd work anywhere at this point)

goodluck finding one though...if you find one see if they need someone else(assuming it works with my hours)

[Edited on July 28, 2008 at 9:33 PM. Reason : ^damn that job blows though...]

Capital City Grocery is hiring baristas, and possibly cashiers

Go to myspace.com/capitalcitygrocery, fill out an application (listed in bulletins) and bring it to the store.

I suggest bringing a resume also

Baristas serve and make coffee drinks. Ours serve beer and wine too.

I am in need of a personal chef. Experience is a plus, but not required (as long as you can make a good meal during the interview), part-time, $15/hr, all food expenses paid by myself, cooking utensils/dishware provided. Technical computer skills required.

You would be the cook. So you get to decide what to cook. Of course at the time of hiring, you will be told the taste preferences of those you would cook for. Computer skills are required because if there is no food to cook, you will be responsible for ordering food from raleigh takeout, and that is online, on a computer.

This is cash under the table btw. Tax-free.

The reason I am looking to hire a chef is so I don't have to order out all the time. But if you fuck up your cooking, you will need to get some god damned food quick.

it says resnet but you'd probably end up working for the other departments they have listed there if you got the job. Plus it's on campus so you can sit around a lot in your dorm if appropriate.

I work 15-20hrs/week with children with mental health issues...it's pretty simple, fun, easy to maintain, extremely flexible and my company is always hiring...there aren't enough Recovery Techs like me to go around.

http://www.ahrnc.com/

pay starts at $13/hr for part time, I was hired immediately with no mental health background, just get you notes in on time and go through the boring 20hrs of training and it's a pretty easy job, will leave you with alot of great memories and you'll really feel well when you see results

I need a job, but what the hell do you need a resume to work at a restaurant thingy for? Plus, the only food experience I have is the month and a half I worked at BK before I got pissed off and quit.

My other experience is Co-Op Engineer at US Airways and shit I did in high school at a Nissan Dealership (detailing, parts delivery, inventory, was offered job as a dealer, too).

Bartender is the only job I would ever even think to consider if I worked at a restaurant.

you'll need your own transportation, i only visit the office once every 2 weeks to pick up paycheck/drop off paperwork...the time spent working is in the homes of your clients...I'm not racist but some of the families I've worked with are and when they're child is diagnosed with a MH illness, they'll request for a white male/female to work with their son/daughter. I also work out of the North Raleigh Office so my clients tend to live in the N Raleigh area and are pretty well off. If you have a fuel efficient car, it's a pretty good gig, you'll sometimes have to drive the kids around like a babysitter if they have some type of social anxiety problem, but you'll at least get to do fun shit like Batting Cages, Go-Karts, Fishing, Playgrounds, Pool(w/ Lifeguard).

My only gripes are they don't compensate for my mileage when I'm with the client nor do they pay me to write my notes which takes like 10 minutes per note, and I'll have about 10-12 Notes per 2 weeks.

No session can last over 4 hours either, so you won't be working more than 4hrs/day unless you go 2x clients. They want people for afternoon hours mainly since these are 12-16yo kids coming home from school and you just work on the specific goals the QPs have assigned them.

yeah even with gas going down, paid mileage is crucial.

i've worked in the DD field for a year or so prior to this job where I was a Job Coach and I'd travel all over visiting 20-30 clients in a month rather than just 2-3. They did compensate me for mileage on that job as well as writing notes, didn't pay as much though, so perhaps at $13/hr the rate compensates your mileage/note taking, most mental health related jobs I saw paid $9-$10.50/hr
