Used and abused, but still in good shape. All the zippers work, no tears. Size L/XL. Has the straps so you can attach your sleeping back in that area at the bottom of the pack. I never used this one (got it with some other stuff I bought), but I do have two Kelty packs that I have had for quite a while and they are great quality. $20 Cheap!

I think so. If you weren't 5'11" I'd probably say no.

It has a lot of adjustments. Each of the red shoulder straps have about 4" of side-to-side adjustment to accomodate different shoulder widths. They can be moved up or down on those three horizontal bars to adjust how high the pack sits. The waist strap will fit fine.

I do not know how women's packs differ from men's packs though. You might want to research that and see if the differences can be overcome or if they really matter.

There was a tag with the size (L/XL) and I'm pretty sure I would have taken note if the model was listed anywhere. I'll check again though.

I don't want to approximate the weight. The difference between a lightweight and a heavyweight pack is usually only about 2 lbs and neither I nor my scale could be accurate to that degree. I'll just say that it's not as light as my newer REI internal frame pack, but it's not overly heavy either. Anyone who thinks they want it is welcome to try it out and see how it fits/weighs before handing over any money. It's not going to bother me if you check it out and decide it isn't what you want.

I also take payment in the form of half gallons of liquor.

Yeah, I have a Kelty Daypack and one of their Camelback type packs. I've been using both of them for several years and they are still perfect. I think they're every bit as nice as their North Face equivalents and while they're not cheap at all they are still less than most of their competition.
