the utility alotment at u suites is stupid. if u go under the amount you lose money becuase you are still paying for a certain amount, if you go over they charge you for however much you went over.

That's the rate from University Suites. It's the total rent with utilities, so only one check each month. It is true that if you do go over, you have to pay, but if you divide it by 3 people, I couldn't imagine it being more than $5. From personal past experiences at other apartments in Raleigh, I've never paid over $2 for going over what they alloted my roommates and I.

moved out of u suites in the spring after living there for 2 years. they made up some random excuse a week after we moved out saying we had to pay for our entire fridge ($600). we refused to pay. they threatened to report to our credit (which I am trying to get a home loan) so I ended up just paying my part. then i come to find out they are still using the fridge with the new people that live there. deceptive management ftw!!
