I just moved back to Charlotte and my chinchillas are not getting along with my cats at home. Chinchillas do not smell and are great pets for children. I go to Raleigh every once in a while so I can arrange a drop-off date with the highest bidder. It would be nice we could even meet halfway, but the cage is approximately 3 feet tall and cannot fit most small cars securely.

Gizmo is a gray chinchilla who is approximately 3 years old. He is very friendly and loves to be scratched under his chin. He loves to run on his wheel all day. Tails is a beautiful mosaic chinchilla that I bought as a baby and is almost 1 1/2 years old. The tip of his tail is white, hence the name. He can be very shy at first, but I can have the most fun with him because he is very energetic.

I bought Gizmo for $125 and Tails for $130. This ad also includes a giant glass water bottle, a two story cage that is in great condition, a blue igloo that is in great condition, and a metal wheel that is in good condition.

If you add everything up you get:
Gizmo- $125
Tails- $130
Cage- $70
Water Bottle: $15
Wheel: $13
Igloo: $7

For a total of: $360

BUT you can have it all for only $175. I am willing to negotiate the price and accept the best offer because I really need them in a new home as soon as possible. Please give them a good new home!

Pictures are in my gallery, but here they are for your convenience. Thanks for looking!

I can vouch for these chinchillas. Both are loving and really fun to play with. If you have ever touched a chinchilla, they have the softest fur I have ever felt. It is fairly uncommon to come across them in pet stores, so now is a great chance to get 2 cute, lovable pets that require almost no work to take care of, other than just giving them attention.

They need a new home so help us out!

I can vouch for these chinchillas too! they are super sweet and don't have a problem being held (which is not true of most of the chinchillas ive been in contact with).

I would but them from you A, but ive got no space to keep them

^ they can live to be 20 years old or so.

I have chinchillas of my own and they are great pets.
They do require specific care (large cage, exercise, diet, dust baths, and cannot tolerate hot temperatures above 80 degrees) but they are pretty much odorless and don't make very much noise. Many chins do not like to be held or restricted but some do, it depends on their individual personality and how they've been treated. Chins stress easily and shouldn't be kept in loud areas of the house. They have fragile thin bones that can fracture easily. Think of the density of pencil lead...
That being said they are great pets and can be tons of fun!

good luck finding them homes.

Thanks Keeley! I forgot to mention that their dust bath house and volcanic dust ($15 value) are included as well. It's so cute to watch them roll around. They really get into it! Just youtube "chinchilla dust bath" to get an idea

i have a friend who is looking for a chinchilla or two (though she's in chicago for grad school and won't be home until october)

btw, chinchillas are awesome...mine lived to be 13 or 14 (i think, i'd have to do the math) and they are soooooooo much fun...nothing so cool as a chinchilla taking a dust bath and they have, by far, the silkiest, softest fur of any animal i've ever touched

i miss speedbump

It's an old picture from when I first got them so STFUKTHXBAI.

Someone has already offered me the asking price of $175. I'm still trying to finalize things and arrange a drop off time. But remember, I am in Charlotte and things are not set in stone yet. I am still taking other offers through pm since this thread has a lot of useless comments...*ahem* Don't miss your chance on these awesome furries ^_^!
