shit, I think 17 is too young for a 19 year old. you change and mature A LOT once you get to college. a 17 year old dating a 15 year old is a whole lot different than a 19 year old dating a 17 year old.

the whole relationship lasted at most 3-4 months, and at that period in my life i wasn't looking for maturity. but now it's definitely a big deal for me. my current is 3.5 years younger than me, which is good.

I have always dated girls that were like 4 years younger than me, and even then there were huge maturity differences. A buddy of mine who is also 30 is dating a 21 year old chick. She has her shit together for the most part: college graduate, has her own place, has a good job. But the immaturity is still REALLY REALLY REALLY bad.

with that being said, i would totally fuck an 18 year old. but if I am looking to date, I am trying to keep them my age or older.
