Haha, I have a modded PS2 if you're interested in that as well. It's got a built in hard drive with a bunch of games already saved on it. Its a... DMS4 EZI... the better one, not the lite. It's installed in my fat boy right now, which I could sell if you were interested.

The mod chip is, in all honestly, buggy about 5-10% of the time, as in it will boot to the game, not the browser software, but resetting it fixes it. Let me know if you're interested. I liked it a lot. I assume it would be a little easier than the swap magic, but I guess that's for you to decide.

Pop in the HDLoader disk and you're basically good until you run out of space on your PC.

I just got the PS2 on saturday... it has the network adapter already (hd... maybe - not sure how to check yet.) I have one game and I'm trying to get a few more to play.

hell, what you have sounds a lot better than mine. I bought mine so I could do the custom guitar hero stuff. It was a huge pain in the ass but we made an almost completely customized game, but it was off in a lot of places. To do it right, you have to do it yourself.

To check for the hard drive, just unscrew the big black screws in the back of the network adapter and pull the thing out, if there's a hard drive attached to it, you're good to go. This is how it is for the thick PS2.
