I have a 26" vizio 720p tv that i have my computer hooked up to. Originally the resolution was 1400X900, then the hp updater updated the video card (Geforce 8600, 512mb) and when i restarted the resolution was down to 1360x768. Went to the Nvidia control panel and the 1400x900 resolution option was gone, I tried to the driver roll back but it just says i have never updated the driver. How can i get my 1400x900 resolution back? 8/20/2008 4:30:28 PM |

1400*900 is not the native resolution of your tv
thats why you cant select it

1400x900 should have looked unbearably fuzzy.8/20/2008 4:54:01 PM |

it looked fine and was working for 3 weeks, now everything is just really big, i used to be able to have to internet browsers up side by side and see everything on both of them, now i have to full screen it to get the full width of a page, can i just make the font of everything smaller or something? 8/20/2008 5:04:00 PM |

yup.
native 720p is 1280x720, so if you can find that, use it.
the native resolution of your panel is most likely 1366x7688/20/2008 6:10:38 PM |
