The best part of the story is where Mattel is sending the little girl a set of Babrie golfclubs. WTF.

I find it very hard to believe this story for 4 reasons:1. That crappy rod would break2. If the rod didn't break, the 6 pound test line would have broken3. If the drag was set really low so the line would not break, the cat would have taken all the line out4. if the first 3 somehow managed not to fail, the hook used most likely would have bent or broken (they were fishing for bluegill), allowing the fish to get off

^ Meh...I've caught a 15 lb catfish at a pond in Georgia with an ultralight rod with 5lb test. It bent the hook to hell and that rod was never the same again, but I got him in. It's hard to believe, but it's possible.

For the record, that's the face everyone should have when they're posing with a fish: "damn this thing is heavy!"

Why does he get the credit? It was her rod. Frankly, this bathroom story sounds made up. Think she hooked it and he was like, "Gimme that rod!"
