where's that page with the greasemonkey scripts someone wrote for TWW?
I searched, but didn't find anything, besides I don't think the title had anything to do with the scripts. 8/27/2008 9:44:33 PM |

dang, i wish i would have seen these before writing some myself. nevertheless, here are a few more that you may find useful. agentlion, feel free to grab them and put on your page so they are all in one place.
some of the scripts functionality:
- resize super large photos so there is no horizontal scrolling.
- shorten super long links so there is no horizontal scrolling.
- insert smiley's, quote, image, etc. where the cursor is
- convert links to work for any tww url
that last one has kind of been addressed on the server side, but i've seen it break sometimes still.
here they are8/27/2008 10:39:55 PM |

it's a standard .js file like all greasemonkey scripts - should be able to install it fairly easily.
i couldn't say how though - i don't have it installed anymore

by reading the instructions on the greasemonkey page. 8/27/2008 11:35:35 PM |

dude fuck that, im not going to manually create a new script and add the included sites and then copy paste your code into notepad etc. most normal people make it so that greasemonkey detects you trying to add a new script when you click on the .js file. 8/27/2008 11:39:10 PM |

most people don't bitch about complimentary add ons for a site that doesn't offer them to it's members. they are there if you want to use them. if not, then GO FUCK YOURSELF 8/28/2008 1:36:14 AM |

I didn't see any instructions on how to install those 8/28/2008 7:17:18 AM |

if you install Greasemonkey first, then you can rightclick on .js files and there is an "install script" option, or I think just click to open it and GM will ask if you want to install 8/28/2008 7:22:30 AM |

I have Greasemonkey, but it doesn't open the install window, and there's no option to install when right-clicking 8/28/2008 8:13:26 AM |

is there a "view user script source" option? when you do that, it will open the user script in a new window, then an Install toolbar will appear
oh, i see - you can't open the .js files directly from that host..... i can put them on my site tonight

It hasn't been updated but you can use MR Tech Toolkit to install it. I'm using 3.0.1 and it works perfectly fine.

sweet. thanks.
on another note: what's a good, and free, back-up program. something that would look in certain folders for files that changed and then back them up on an external hdd, instead of backing everything up?

From Feedback Forum, it would be great to get a script to fix this, until it's fixed forrealz:
Quote : | "The "Reply to Topic" button should load the most recent page in the lower iframe. The New Topic and reply pages also need to be wider so that there's no side-scrolling. Widening the two should be fairly simple. Most recent page might not be too bad either." |
