All goggle results have proven to be incorrect. MusicMatch does not contain an option to disable the 2 second gap between songs, and my copy of Nero doesn't goddamn fucking work on Vista. "Free and Easy CD Burner" also does not have the option.

and what doesn't work on vista about your copy of nero? i have had both nero 7 and nero 8 running on my server 2008 x64 box... yes, windows warns you about incompatibilities when you first install, but just ignore it, nero just wants you to upgrade. i haven't run into any problems.
