what is your degree in and what do you do for a living where you have time to pursue a masters?

Degree: Masters in HF (Human Factors Engineering Psychology)

Living: Well, I had been in graduate school for the past couple of years going full time. They gave me a scholarship of sorts to take care of tuition, and I also worked as a TA teaching 2-4 classes a semester, and that paid a stipend. I finished all of my course work some time ago, did my literature review, typed my manuscript for my thesis, proposed my thesis to my committee, ran my experiment with the participants, analyzed the data, and put that into the manuscript. This whole summer, I've been trying to get my committee together so that I could defend my thesis. It was the last thing I had to do to finish. But they were all traveling, working on other things, etc...

So I took a job offer with Lockheed Martin as a Human Factors Design Engineer while my committee got their shit together. Been working there for a few months now. I just had to travel from NY down to VA to defend it this past friday....
