The local skydiving center located in Louisburg flew it's last load for skydivers last night after being open for 35 years. Crazy considering I've been going there almost 10 years now. Anyone with outstanding gift certificates should look into getting their money back. Raeford is only 1 hour 20 min from Raleigh if anyone fits that category and is still looking to make a skydive Raeford at least has the biggest indoor skydiving facility in the world.

From a friend in Louisburg:
Quote : | "me: i heard that carolina sky sports is closing her: yeah - for a while at least her: the husband of the woman who runs it basically wanted to ruin her life her: (they're getting divorced) her: and said she was stealing parts off his plane her: so she's been suspended from working her: so it's closed down" |

^ All BS.
They make a shit ton leasing planes and own about 13 planes (at one time they owned about 24). They are leased to the military for jumping contracts as well as random geological work and other skydiving centers. They don't need the jumping part of the business and have been doing it for 35 years. They jump needed a break as they are both approaching 70. 9/3/2008 6:16:52 PM |
