I've been going through camcorderinfo.com and a few sites from Google searches, but I always prefer leaning on the Gods of TWW for advice as well.
Got a state government agency that meets once a month for about 10 hours at a stretch. They need meetings video/audio recorded, but since they meet in different locations each month mounted cameras aren't an option. Lighting is usually poor, and there are no mics in the rooms. They also don't have $$$ to spend on a decent high-end solution.
Looks like we'll be going the HDD route, but that's about all that's been decided. Several folks have highly recommended a couple Sony models.
What say ye TWW? 9/4/2008 12:54:23 PM |

Don't know if you can get into it for $700 unless you find a good deal, but we just got a Canon HG10 at my workplace and we've been very happy with it so far. Check the specs and the pricing, and see what you think. 9/4/2008 2:17:13 PM |
