Is that one of those toothbrush replacements for people making more than $20/hr?
9/6/2008 9:25:11 AM
It's not a toothbrush replacement, but it's a substitute for flossing. The company claims (obviously) that it's more effective than flossing.I can't confirm or disconfirm their claim, but I think it feels great and it's something I am actually using. I never really liked flossing more than once a week.

Well.. I will say the dentist's little water jet tool looked like this.. and it was FUCKING MARVELOUS.But my last dentist was also a hot chick.. so idk..How is expensive is it? <$150 I could go for it.

does it use warm water? I think regular water would make my teeth cold
9/6/2008 9:36:23 AM
Nerdchick I use warm water, and I also mix in a little Listerine in the reservoir. I don't think they cost more than $75.

Did you buy it locally? If yes, where?
9/6/2008 9:56:54 AM
It was actually a gift from my mother, so I don't know where she bought it. It definitely wasn't in Raleigh.Amazon is selling it for $43.99 and free shipping. Not a bad deal.link

10/11/2008 1:35:17 PM
i always thought they were kinda messy, maybe i was doin' it wrong?
10/11/2008 1:37:28 PM
you just gotta lean over the sink so the water + junk in your mouth goes down the drain. it takes a couple of times to get used to it and not making a mess
