If our offense can perform against Chicago like they did against SD, then I will believe in playoffs....
Until then, I cannot assume we are "back" or anything like that.... If we do then I see >>

I think if we can beat Chicago than we beat Denver at home and somehow snag one of those last 2 games on the road.

12-4 and NFC South Champs

I like our record that you've given us. It's winning, it's 10 games winning. However, why, WHY, do you have our first loss at Minnesota????

That's Steve Smith's first game back. He is ITCHING like a heroin addict to play. He was texting the trainers the whole Charger game about how everyone was doing.

I regret to type this, but I will. I could see our "6th" loss being at Atlanta, perhaps the beginning of the rebirth of such a shitty team for the rest of the year. In other words, ATL will win this game, gain confidence for a few games, then fail miserably as they have done for roughly 30 years.

bears looked pretty good against the colts. hopefully we don't need a last minute drive to win the home opener.

I'm not getting my hopes up. We've always played like crap at home.

ATL running all over DET was all about DET defense not being prepared.

GB eeking out over MIN was all about MIN penatlies and not being prepared.

MIN 45 man roster > ATL 45 man roster - easily.

By mid-season, we will much rather play ATL away than MIN away....

This is the easiest schedule the Panthers have played in years.

No Dallas, no Indy, no NE, no Seattle, and games against Detroit, Oakland, and KC.

this is the real test for the Panthers. coming off a big win on the road, and playing at home against a team we should beat...historically, these are the games we lose.

if we can get by 2-0 without Smitty, i'll cream my pants.

Why are the Bears favored by a point?

Because the Bears, after beating up the Colts, look like they may be a better team than every one thought. Atleast their defense does.

the Bears aren't favored, its Carolina -3

its basically a pick em and we get 3 points for being at home

we should win simply because we have a better offense and we can limit Hester's returns by having Lloyd kick off

^i think you misconstrued his post as being a diss of Fox and his abilities, when he was actually referencing a Rack Room Shoes commercial from a few seasons ago

ESPN 1st and 10 was just on and Skip Bayless picked the Panthers to win NFC South with possibility of having best record and homefield advantage because of our easier schedule (than Dallas, Philly, etc.)

It's Atlanta's year to win, based on the curse of the NFC South

but I sure as hell hope we win it instead
