Okay folks, we all know it's gonna happen any day now so I'm gonna write a script on how it will probably go down.

Ambrosia: (seated at kitchen table munching on a sandwich made of homemade bread and other yummy stuff thinks to herself) I wonder when he's gonna propose, gah dayum!
Zorthage: (enters scene left nonchalantly up to seated Ambrosia with ring between forefinger and thumb outstretching his arm to her) "Here"
Ambrosia: (calmly finishes chewing, swallows, and wipes her mouth daintily with a cloth napkin and gently takes ring from Zorthage) "Finally!"

End Scene

Next Scene

Ambrosia: (several minutes later as she is driving alone to work does it sink in that he actually finally did it and the surprise was that there was no surprise to it and she smiles like a schoolgirl in heat.)

It's not imminent, in the 'any day now' sense.

We actually talked about this this weekend.

I, too, am curious as to how he's going to do it. What I envision is something like our best date night, where we had thai food, and then took goodberry's to the airport, and watched planes. If he's a smart man, he will propose at the airport

i know leading up to jlancas03's proposal to me i was all like "omg is he going to do it today????" such as:

random scooter rental ride around raleigh...i thought all those weeks and months of "i want to buy a scooter" was a trick leading up to a romantic scooter ride. i mean i already felt like audrey hepburn jetting around in roman holiday i remember riding up to the top of the parking deck thinking, "he's gonna be on one knee when i get up there i just know it." nope!

our zoo trip...weird, but we always talked about going to the zoo as a fun day date...so why not? after all the elephants etc...nada!

any beach trip...mayhaps after i surfed my first wave? ZILCH!!

and even though i thought "maybe he'll ask me in NYC..." i ended up having SO much fun that i wasn't even thinking about it (except for the night of our drunken couple on the subway 'argument')

it was when my guard was completely down, i was wearing my favorite t-shirt and just soaking it all in...and we were all alone (seriously! in nyc, no one was around--craziness)

so that's when it will happen for them too...i guarantee it.
