Either one. I haven't run linux for a while. I usually install both gnome and kde and change it up every now and then. 9/15/2008 7:18:22 PM |

I used to like KDE but really you can customize gnome so much that I just use it and mess around with/remove unnecessary panels 9/15/2008 7:26:40 PM |

I use KDE for no real reason. Its the first one I started using and I've gotten used to it. I'm a slow man to change 9/15/2008 8:59:11 PM |

ubuntu has been pissing me off recently. it's been locking up a lot. i've had my old desktop with XP running for about 2 weeks now and my relatively new laptop with ubuntu can't stand to be run more than 24 hours at a time before the sound goes out, programs refuse to start up, and finally, the system menu stops responding. i have to ctrl+alt+backspace and reboot. i think maybe ubuntu just has too much shit on it to be stable like debian is. 9/17/2008 9:50:56 AM |
