denver traded him to seattle for a late draft pick
[Edited on September 16, 2008 at 4:43 PM. Reason : thread title kind of confusing since k-rob FA pickup, colbert trade] 9/16/2008 4:38:12 PM |

i guess nobody wanted to take a chance on him cause of his off field issues
but seattle lost their top 3 receivers and they're a pass happy offense

how long til k-rob is added to the yahoo database? will he be worth a fantasy spot?
i could definitely see myself dropping dj hackett for him 9/16/2008 5:52:58 PM |

^given the lack of depth in seattle, he might be a better option than hackett, especially with Smitty back in Carolina 9/16/2008 6:12:00 PM |

Media already having fun with this....
Quote : | "Entering Sunday’s overtime abortion against the Niners, Seattle already had its top four wideouts — Deion Branch, Bobby Engram, Nate Burleson, and Ben Obomanu — on injured reserve. Then backup QB Seneca Wallace, who was supposed to start at split end, injured his calf in pregame warm-ups (he’ll miss 3-4 weeks), and Logan Payne was lost for the season while making his first catch in the first quarter.
So, who is it now? Well, today they traded for Keary Colbert, who last caught a touchdown in 2005. Even better, former Seahawk top draft pick turned drunkard turned bust turned castoff turned Viking turned Pro Bowler turned drunkard (again) Koren Robinson is expected to re-sign with the team." |
