3 channel (1 clean, 2 distortion), spring reverb, with footswitch. 1x12 combo amplifier. Playable, but needs tubes. I had all the pots cleaned, everything resoldered, and otherwise generally gone through several years ago.
Loud enough for small to medium sized gigs if you crank it up loud. Selling because I want to buy an Orange, Dr. Z, or some other high-end amp. 9/16/2008 10:12:37 PM |

I am bringing it up to Raleigh this weekend (or if you live down by Morehead City or New Bern, we can just work a deal down here). 9/17/2008 10:53:53 AM |

so on ebay I can get one of these for $320, and it needs a $70 tube set to work? $75 9/17/2008 11:02:29 AM |

the only one I see on eBay is a head unit for $329. you'd still have to buy a cabinet, not to mention shipping costs on the amp. mine is a combo.
there's this one: http://www.musicgoround.com/gear/shippinginfo.asp
it's $300, plus they estimate $35-$100 in shipping, depending on where you live and the size of the amp (that's a generic estimation for combo amps)

Not tryin' to argue. Just sayin. Get it fixed first and I'll offer $250... Maybe we can start from there? 9/17/2008 11:55:28 PM |

yep, that's an identical amp. with shipping, though, that one is still $380.
if I replaced the tubes, I'd want more than $250. the reason it's priced at $250 is because it needs a set of tubes!
I don't want to replace them, either. For one thing, I'm leaving for Iraq in a week and have more important stuff to do, but also, it just doesn't make sense for me to replace the tubes when I know I want to sell it. If I leave it as is and just reduce the price to account for it, you can buy it and put in whatever tubes you want. You can alter the way an amp sounds with the tubes you choose to put in it--what I like may be different from what you (or another buyer) prefer. 9/18/2008 2:49:17 PM |

How much does it cost to replace the tubes? If it's not too late, I'll make a decent offer after considering the tube replacement price. 9/20/2008 8:35:09 AM |

i don't remember exactly, and it depends on what tubes you want to put in there, but i would guess $100. maybe $150. 9/20/2008 11:03:47 AM |
