I would put Rivers in at legs rather than arms.
And put Byron Leftwich and his 10 second windup at arms.
Also, I would put Peyton at feet, since nose doesn't make a difference.

^^ he shifty, smart enough to know where the coverage will go to and where he can step up... what really gets him is someone just coming right up the middle (see Jeff Saturday's injury)

Not the worst either. He also lit up that top-ranked Indianapolis Colts pass defense in the last game ever at the RCA dome, in the playoffs. This year he's the best in the league so far. 9/25/2008 12:59:49 PM |

Rivers and the entire team didn't look good to start last year, but looked as good as anyone to finish the season. They had to adjust to the new coaching staff and system. Like ^ said, he's the best in the league so far. Doesn't he lead the NFL in passer rating right now? 9/25/2008 1:12:29 PM |

Yes, by a wide margin. He also leads the league in TD passes.
I wouldn't expect him to continue to throw 3 TD's every game, but if he keeps up his stats he's probably looking at another pro-bowl with Brady out and Manning struggling.9/25/2008 1:20:58 PM |

Nonsense.
His armstrength is considered below average, although he has put a lot more zip on the ball this year. His accuracy is well above average, and his touch is phenomenal.9/25/2008 1:43:17 PM |

In total passing yards, yes.
Rivers leads the league in rating (124.8), TD's(9), yards per attempt(9.9), and passes over 40 yards (5)
[Edited on September 25, 2008 at 3:00 PM. Reason : Brees also has a "below average" throwing arm, doesn't stop him from putting up huge yardage totals.]9/25/2008 2:58:59 PM |

arm is not just pure armstrength
How hard is that to figure out?
Kyle Boller can throw the ball 80 yards, but he doesn't have a better arm than Rivers. Just stronger. Rivers' arm is more accurate. 9/25/2008 3:53:50 PM |
Jaybee1200 Suspended 56200 Posts user info edit post |
no, I am pretty sure 99% of the world assumes arm strength when someone mentions "he is a QB with a great arm"
thats why they say things like "he has a great arm but horrible touch"
same thing with baseball, Greg Maddux is accurate as fuck, no one has ever said he has a "great arm"d
dont even think about arguing this, you know I am right

If you're gonna define "arm" as just arm strength than Rivers is a somewhat acceptable choice, although I still would go for Chad Pennington there.
There should also be an accuracy part of the arm, maybe the forearm. That should go to Vick, or Tarvaris Jackson if only current players are allowed. 9/25/2008 5:07:02 PM |

This picture needs more older school shitty ass QBs added to it like Bill Joe Tolliver, Cade McNown or Todd Marinovich (spelling).
Plus how you make a shitty QB compilation of current QBs and not include fucking Joey Harrington. They could just have a picture of Joey Harrington and that would suffice without any argument from most people.
Also I agree that Chad Pennington should be listed for weakest arm. Philip's is definitely stronger. I think people who don't see Philip play much just assume his arm is weak because his throwing motion is weird. That is like saying Jim Furyk sucks at golf because his swing is not typical. 9/26/2008 4:14:21 PM |
