I will feed you supper and give you all the beer that you can drink while your'e here. Plus, you get to meet the infamouse lucky1. LOL. Pm me with your number if interested. He sent me up here to tell ^you that he don't know how to do it without one. If you know of a better way, call him and explain it to him over the phone. He's not coming up stairs for a while, hes cleaning the garage and messing with his truck. 9/25/2008 6:37:09 PM |

he should be able to just slide under the rear of the truck and remove the bolts, no need for a jack. it might be under a slight bit of tension, but nothing you should be able to easily compress or expand the shock as needed by hand. the springs support the truck, not the shocks.
[Edited on September 25, 2008 at 6:56 PM. Reason : also, you need to replace them in pairs not just one at a time... i.e. both rears/both fronts/all 4] 9/25/2008 6:54:53 PM |

I've got a jack and some jack stands you can use, but you'll have to come pick them up off Kaplan. I've got some ramps if that's easier for you. 9/25/2008 7:16:08 PM |

^ the jack did make it easier to fit under the truck, but I guess bbr did win. Thanks stephen, I needed the help since im sort of "handicapped" right now. LOL.
The next step is paint and body work. Anyone know where to find a right front quarter panel and passenger door for a 93 ranger? And I need someone to spray the truck for me, or let me borrow, rent a spray gun. Im painting it o d green. Already done most of the body work, sanding, dent pulling, and priming. 9/27/2008 8:05:06 AM |

there was a truck salvage yard off of gresham lake rd a while back. i think they've moved. not sure where they are now. i picked up a tailgate for an 80s S10 there.
your best bet is probably junk yards. or ebay.
or certifit if you're gonna end up painting it 9/27/2008 9:57:09 AM |
