i have a friend who is a luthier and he has fixed a number of different levels of Esteban guitars and every one we've looked at is a bunch of garbage to put it mildly. While I do not wish to insult you or take away from the posting, this guitar does not equal the quality of guitars triple to price. A true high quality guitar is going to cost you a lot more for something like a low end Taylor.
I urge buyer's to beware on this one 9/26/2008 9:00:12 PM |

i think i'm going to have to agree with caddyman on this one... as far as musical instruments go, you get what you pay for. While I'm sure this guitar is decent enough for a beginner... I think your sales pitch is pretty far fetched. These esteban guitars are not the same quality as a guitar triple the price... so go ahead and take that out of there...
BTW I've played some of these Esteban guitars and have been playing guitar for over 15 years now. If you want a truely nice guitar, save up and get a guild or taylor. I'm currently picking on a G&L... 9/26/2008 9:07:03 PM |

If they sell it on home shopping channels, you know it is top of the line. 9/27/2008 11:00:51 AM |

To the seller.. Esteban does make some good guitars to learn on, they can have low action and are just in general easy to learn to play on however i wouldnt call it anywhere near the same quality as anything triple it's price or double the price for that matter..
Those seagulls on the other hand, I am really impressed with those. I like them although my martin does out perform it by a smidge 9/27/2008 7:10:28 PM |

i dont know much about acoustics but the little I do know about estebans is that they usually come poorly setup from the few people I know who have had them. and they are certainly not ANYWHERE CLOSE to being on the same page as any guitar triple their price and probably not even double.
but if you get them set up they prob wouldnt be a terrible guitar for their price. 9/27/2008 8:33:35 PM |

Just so that people know ... this is a classical guitar ... with nylon strings ... The whole package (amp, case, dvd lessons, chord poster) sells on HSN for about $240 ... you see them on craigslist for about $150 to $175. Not a bad guitar if you are learning to play. 9/27/2008 9:25:10 PM |
