ive heard some that were enjoyable but your first sentence is certainly an overstatement
9/28/2008 9:18:25 PM
it is not an overstatement

i've never heard one i liked more than christopher o'riley playing radiohead

i'm currently listening to the Death Cab tribute... i'm on the verge of orgasm.

yea I mean I enjoy the death cab one but after youve listened to it a few times, Id take the death cab versions over nearly every one of the string ones (I really do like Blacking Out the Friction among a few others though). They are a minimalist, vocal centered band and after the newness of the idea wears off if I want to hear a death cab song I want to be hearing gibbard's version.[Edited on September 28, 2008 at 9:40 PM. these are really cool, but after about two songs i always end up just putting on the non-tribute version of the album.

they're terrible and they shouldn't be wasting space under the category "Classical" because they're not fucking classical
9/28/2008 10:00:42 PM
Yep, this thread is true. I'm a fan of the string quartet tributes.BUT THEN YOU RUIN IT WITH THIS METRO MUSIC.
9/28/2008 10:01:16 PM
clearly, they are not classical music.
9/28/2008 10:01:56 PM
not according to the people who upload them
9/28/2008 10:02:11 PM
I've never seen them under classical. I always see them under whatever group they did the tribute to.[Edited on September 28, 2008 at 10:03 PM. Reason : ^I GUESS YOU'RE A CLASSICAL MUSIC METRO FAG.]
9/28/2008 10:02:40 PM
I don't even know what a metro fag is, so I'm guessing I'm not
9/28/2008 10:04:36 PM
OH THEN YOU MOST DEFINITELY ARE METRO.
