blade is sharp, still opens perfectly, but the black finish is worn in some places.

thanks sweetheart

however, when you can get the same knife new for what he is asking for it, you wont get close to selling it, especially on tww

Ill be damned, they were a lot higher a year ago straight from benchmade. Dont guess ill be letting go if this one then. I just did a search and found it from 169 to 206.

no reason to get rid of such a fine knife anyways...I have really been wanting a Benchmade but my Kershaw is still holding up really well, especially for a 1 year old knife that I use constantly

stupid question on my part: why does it cost $vermont?

i use my CRKT daily for the past 3 years, from cutting to prying things open, and it's still insanely sharp, with no nicks in the blade or anything

it was $6 during REI super clearance

*shrug*

1. It's a very high quality knife.
2. The "Auto" in Auto Stryker adds $50

Not to say your CRKT isn't great, but this knife has a better blade, better handle, better lock mechanism, better fit and finish, etc. It's comparing a Toyota to a Lexus. Errrybody wins.

same here.

also benchmade has a program that will sharpen and fix whatever is wrong with your knife for life. so that's a cool deal too. i rather like being able to send the thing back to be reconditioned for free.

^^If you send the knife back for sharpening, they don't verify that you are police or military?

also, I can't believe anyone hasn't said this yet:

^ yeah they do, so unless you're LE/ MIL, you wont get your knife back, plus benchmade customer service sucks, not to mention benchmade quality has gone waaay down in the past several years. I'd shoot for under $100 on this one, wont get much more than that esp. here.

its really not. pickup a strider, chris reeve, william henry, etc -thats quality. benchmades just another production knife.

i was commenting on my kershaw holding up well. it is a production knife made in china. i've only had good service through, them but it could always change.
