Parents' driveway has old stains. I've scrubbed w/ dawn, and it helped some. I'm thinking a pressure washer and an acid is the way to go.

Any ideas, suggestions on specific acid, alt. routes, etc?

At tire kingdom/merchants tire/ntb we sell a product that works really well actually.. it's just called "driveway cleaner" and costs about 5 or 6 bucks a bottle. It works so well it cleans the shop floor and makes the concrete look almost brand new. I also used it at a customer's house when they had a faulty oil filter gasket o-ring and dumped oil all over their driveway.

Other than that muratic acid works well but the trouble is it leaves a white spot on the concrete because it cleans/erodes so much. Eventually it wears back even but be aware that acid can cause somewhat adverse reactions.

If you get a coffee stain on your dress shirt you can just dip the whole shirt in coffee and have a brown shirt. I think that could work here. Just cover the whole driveway with oil for even coverage.

The driveway is on an incline, so these spills, ran. Covering the whole drive may be an option

Wouldn't I be using a diluted muratic over the entire driveway in this situation?
