He's defending states rights over yonder in the Middle East these days
Rather, trying to subvert them...

He was a Union soldier, so he was actually, more or less, the anti-maverick. After all, what is more maverick than secession?
One could say that the confederacy was a "maverick team"... even, perhaps, a "team of mavericks". 10/3/2008 12:17:57 AM |

This definitely deserved its own thread.
Or maybe I missed it. Was their a thread about FDR's appearance on television at the start of the Great Depression? If that thread got made, then its stupidity cancels out the stupidity of this thread. 10/3/2008 1:24:22 AM |

Biden says hilariously dumb shit but hilariously dumb FALSE shit.
What Palin says can't even be true or false. She doesn't know how to form a truth-evaluable proposition.10/3/2008 2:19:18 AM |

It's a completely different kind of stupidity though. Personally, I can understand how the timeline of 80 year old events can get a little hazy; what I can't understand is how you can be in her position and not know the name of the person leading our troops at this very moment.10/3/2008 8:49:31 AM |

Is it understandable to forget that a fellow Democratic member of Congress since 1996 has been in a wheelchair for over 25+ years?10/3/2008 9:16:49 AM |
