test tomorrow night, just wondering how his tests usually are. the grade distribution for this class is basically all A's but dr bateman keeps acting like the tests are hard and i cant tell if he's joking or if he's serious. anyone know? 10/6/2008 7:32:38 PM |

usually if you know the material well and do all of the assignments up to the test and study you do pretty well on any test.

Had Bateman for Eng 288....there aren't written tests in there, just papers, but he was super easy. I'm sure it'll be a cinch, just go over the material a few times. 10/6/2008 9:39:23 PM |

New question - anyone in the class know what the paper we're supposed to do is on? It's not in the syllabus, and I wasn't there Tuesday, so I have no idea. 10/26/2008 12:07:12 PM |

pick anything we've read and basically just write a paper with a claim about it. he gave us some examples in class like writing about how whitman compares the past present and future in the ferry poem and then another was how melville conflicts with the american dream in rip van winkle. i think pretty much anything goes. the paper got pushed back til the 4th tho, after halloween 10/26/2008 9:07:54 PM |
