hahaha I'm glad I'm just starting to contribute heavily to my 401k... I'm gonna make out like a bandit when my contribution gets matched at the end of the year..
10/10/2008 9:50:29 AM
Yeah, my last paycheck was the first one I've gotten to contribute to my 401k ... yay.
10/10/2008 9:53:06 AM
I put a fraction of every single check in my 401k. After I get a few things taken care of ( few months), more is going in.

My dad bought a bunch of Wachovia and Fannie Mae stock when they were both under a dollar per share. I'm pretty sure he's going to buy some more of whatever is cheap once stuff hits bottom.

thank GOD i dont need the money I have put in mutual funds for a long long long time...most are conservative anyhow....one moderate....my 401k is now a 201k.....but only started that a little over a year ago....so my monthly contribution at least gets the stuff cheaper....I am in a more risky areas for the 401k, however, one day, the stock market will go back up and buying it so cheap hopefully will be my 201k goes back to a 401k and maybe a 601k....
