Hey, I just want to get some exercise. I'm auditing most of my classes since I don't need them and just want to enjoy my last semester as well as focus on the two classes I have left to take.

+ More exercising, Less (or None) in classroom learning

Take Tennis and Golf if you haven't yet. Those are 2 sports that you really need lessons to be average at. You will run into a lot of people in your life who enjoy these sports too.

Racquetball. Take it with Ed Remen. Former US National Coach, Racquetball Hall of Fame. Awesome class. You'll get your workout, too.

I really enjoyed softball and bowling. I'd definitely take golf (in addition to the other two) if I had it to do over.

I have to go with ousley for ultimate frisbee. That was the best of the phys ed classes I took. I basically did the same thing you were describing and that was my only tue/thur class. It was the only time I liked driving to class, totally worth it.

Bowling was fun.

If you're a graduate student you're entitled to one free audit per semester as long as you paid your fees. I audited PE 243 last spring to give myself an excuse to get out of the office a couple times a week and clear my head. I know it's not "exercise", but you get to meet new people and have fun. The cost was $65 and that includes bowling for 2 hours every week during class and shoe rental. Well worth it if you do the math.

If you take bowling, make sure you get Kidd as the instructor...he's awesome. Ask him to buy you a can of Schlitz if you can knock down the 7 and 10 pins in two throws without knocking any of the other pins. Get the said beer slid to you across the counter, and profit.

for fun?

Golf, Bowling, Social Dance, Rock Climbing, etc

and try and get Kidd for golf or bowling, he is a really nice guy and will help you out and even let you retake skills tests and such.

Domingue is a really fun lady for Social dance, but she teaches other stuff like water aerobics and some jazz stuff I think too if you wanted to do that...

Aerobics is pretty fun. My friend is in Raquetball and enjoys it, she gets plenty sweaty.

Social dance isn't very exercise intensive, but I 100% suggest Coach Wall. He makes the class really fun and enjoyable.

I took self defense with Ousley and it was a lot of fun. There is a lot of movement and you learn some interesting things while in there too.

I took 2 classes with him in the same semester, and I would have added a 3rd because he's very fun and entertaining.

Heh, the first time I took frisbee with him, there were a couple people in the class that were also in his sexuality class. I definitely learned some things that were not covered in the frisbee course .

I like run conditioning, but I enjoy running. Quite frankly, I wish we could run farther.
The longest you'll run in the class will be 45 minutes. We also do some weight lifting, which is also nice.

I take it with Kari Lewis, who is a great instructor, but I know Kidd teaches it too (he is equally awesome).

So if you're looking for some exercise, I would recommend that class.

That's the other class I took with him, which I high recommend as well. I loved his teaching style and the class (except the video showing child birth)

I'd say raquetball, that way you don't have to go outside at the beginning of the semester when its gonna be cold as fuck

Or you could do softball and get sunlight later in the semester...

Down Hill Skiing, just 1 fun trip over Christmas break is pretty much the whole class. You only have one other meeting to take a test that takes no more than 1 hour to study for.

I'm glad everybody is saying archery. I'm going to be taking that in the spring

All I have to contribute is that Tennis was a lot of fun with Coach Cheek. He is retired now, though.
