One of my cats (Otto) has chewed through my power cord for my router in three separate places. I have bare wires all up and down the cable. Before I go and waste some time trying to fix it i thought I would check here.
I figure that someone has to have a bricked router that doesn't need a power supply any more and can hook me up.
Let me know. 10/12/2008 12:00:10 PM |

A) introduce the cat to AC wires instead of low voltage DC
B) If there's enough wire at the wall-wart, and enough wire before the plug just get barrel crimps and crimp speaker wire in between (make sure you get the polarity right).
C) you can buy a generic wall-wart at radio shack and find the right plug for this fairly simply...

yes, i know how to do all that
fixing it is not a problem...i just dont want to waste the time and i would rather have the correct one rather than a generic, and i think i can get the correct one cheaper
hence i am asking if someone has one
