So, i got my new plastics in, and of course i try to wax them before i put them on the bike. Well wax + flat paint = no good, now they are kinda black with like white crap all over them.
Any idea what the best way to get that crap off is? 11/4/2008 10:23:29 AM |

why not just let it wear down naturally and then use the flat black stuff? it might look crappy for a while... but it's better than scrubbing on your new fairings for hours & possibly screwing them up even more? But I'm no wax pro. 11/4/2008 2:22:33 PM |

Simple Peanut Butter. All other methods mentioned above are going to be to harsh for flat matte paint.
Just spread non chunky PB over the panel, and wipe free. Do a final wipe with Isopropryl Alc 11/5/2008 7:23:18 PM |
